Overnight Stay at WFC
Guestrooms
The World Friendship Center has 4 guestrooms with a shared bath that are available for visitors coming to Hiroshima to learn about its history, the A-Bombing, and its reconstruction and focus on peace.
We have two “western-style” guest rooms with wooden floors, and elevated western-style beds. Each of these rooms has room for up to two guests. The other two rooms are traditional Japanese tatami-mat rooms with sliding doors, featuring traditional Japanese futons placed on the floor. One of these rooms is a triple room for up to three people, and the other is a double room for up to two people. Sliding doors between the rooms allow these two rooms to be combined into a family room for up to 5 people.
All rooms open onto a balcony.
The rooms share a bathroom. The bathroom has a large sink area and a separate shower/bathtub. A separate room has a toilet and a small wash sink.
Breakfast
All lodging includes a complementary simple western style breakfast. Breakfast consists of an assortment of cereals, yogurt/milk, fresh fruit, toast with assorted jams, plus a selection of juices, tea and milk. Breakfast is served in our breakfast room/lounge at 8AM.
The breakfast room/lounge is available for use by residents, unless it is being used for Hibakusha talks, or other occasional special events at the WFC.
