「国際フェスタ2021」にオンライン参加します
ワールド・フレンドシップ・センター(WFC)は、今年の「国際フェスタ2021」（広島平和文化センター主催）に、WFCのイベントとしてオンライン配信により参加します。英語と日本語での発表です。
日時：11月20日（土）14:00 ~ 16:00 (オンライン配信)
事前申し込みが必要です。広島平和文化センターへの申し込み方法については、国際フェスタのチラシをご参照ください。
国際フェスタは、広島在住の外国人や市民に、国際交流・協力、多文化共生に対する理解を深める機会を提供することを目的として、2000年から毎年開催されています。ただし、今年の国際フェスタは、新型コロナウィルス感染拡大防止のため来場数を制限し、イベントの多くはオンライン配信形式により実施されます。
WFCが提供するイベントの内容は、広島市の特別名誉市民でもあるバーバラ・レイノルズの波乱に満ちた人生とWFCとの関わりについて、広く皆さまへアピールする内容です。ご存知のとおり、バーバラは、戦後間もないヒロシマで、ヒバクシャに寄り添い、支援し、共に歩みました。そのきっかけの一つは、ヨットでの家族世界一周航海だったのです。（さて、航海途中で何が起こったのか？）
また今回のイベントでは、現在のWFCの具体的な活動内容を紹介します。特に、WFCに興味を持っていただくために情報発信をしたいと思っております。その一環として、館長夫妻のWFCでの日常活動の様子も紹介する予定です。最後は、お時間が許す限り、皆様からのご質問に答えながら、交流したいと思っています。

Thank you for your continuous support of WFC.
World Friendship Center is going to take a part in the “International Festa 2021,” sponsored by Hiroshima Cultural Center.
The event will be held online using zoom on Saturday, November 20th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., in Japanese and English. Registration is required with the Hiroshima Peace Culture Center. Please see the flier for details. (available in Japanese)
Due to COVID 19, most of the events are planned to be held online this year.
The presentation by WFC is titled, “Barbara Reynolds and World Friendship Center,” in which we will talk about Barbara’s life, full of ups and downs, and how it relates to WFC.
Activities of WFC will be introduced along with the daily activities of the Directors and their experiences in Hiroshima. We wish to have some time for Q&A where we will get to interact with you.
Our motto is “To foster peace, one friend at a time.”
